Nafeesha Mitchell is an experienced educator and organizational leader with over 15 years of service in advancing educational equity. She most recently served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Enterprise Strategy at Teach For America, where she supported organizational strategy and executive operations. Nafeesha has also led regional efforts in Greensboro, NC, and Memphis, TN, focusing on closing opportunity gaps and customizing national programs to meet local needs. A skilled strategist and facilitator, she designs transformative learning experiences that shift mindsets, build capacity, and strengthen impact. She is passionate about helping teams navigate complex challenges with clarity and purpose. Nafeesha is a widowed mother of two daughters and has been recognized as a Triad Business Journal Top Woman in Business, a 40 Leaders Under 40 honoree, and a featured speaker at national education and leadership conferences.
