Overview: AMA Data Helper is a personal analytics tool that helps you view and track your LinkedIn engagement metrics. This policy explains what data we access and how it's handled.

Data We Collect:

When you authorize AMA Data Helper, we access the following LinkedIn data:

  • Your name and profile information

  • Profile picture

  • Email address (for authentication)

  • Post engagement metrics (impressions, likes, comments, shares)

  • Follower and connection counts

How We Use Your Data:

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Display your personal analytics in a dashboard

  • Track engagement trends over time

  • Generate reports for your own use

Data Storage:

Your data stays with you. All information is stored in:

  • Your personal Google Sheets account (which you control)

  • Your browser session (temporary)

We do not maintain external databases or servers that store your LinkedIn data.

Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your information is never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than displaying your own analytics back to you.

Data Retention: Data remains in your Google Sheets until you delete it. We do not retain copies of your data outside of your own accounts.

Revoking Access: You can revoke AMA Data Helper's access at any time:

  1. Go to LinkedIn Settings → Data Privacy → Other applications

  2. Find AMA Data Helper and click Remove

Revoking access stops all future data collection. Previously synced data in your Google Sheets remains until you manually delete it.

Security: We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Your LinkedIn password is never seen or stored by AMA Data Helper.

Changes to This Policy: If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
